Ciao a tutti! Mi chiamo Cristiano Federico, ho 27 anni e abito in provincia di Varese, a Cardana di Besozzo, splendido paesino immerso nel verde (qui sotto ecco la casa dove vivo e allevo i miei gatti).

La mia passione per il Sacro di Birmania risale a tantissimi anni fa: ero infatti un bambino quando ho visto per la prima volta un esemplare di questa razza ancora sconosciuta ai più in Italia e da allora me ne sono innamorato.

Ho sempre avuto una passione particolare per i felini, tanto da dedicare loro tutti i miei studi (Scienze e Tecnologie delle Produzioni animali, ramo di Medicina Veterinaria) ed in modo particolare la mia tesi di Laurea, basata sull'analisi del genotipo e sulla diagnosi di parentela in soggetti felini appunto.

Da allora ho deciso di conoscere il Birmano ancora più approfonditamente e nel settembre del 2005 sono arrivate a casa Eva e Priscilla, un chocolate e un blue point.

Ho iniziato a partecipare alle esposizioni feline,raccogliendo consensi e soddisfazioni e se prima allevare poteva essere solo un sogno, ora si sta concretizzando... Allevare non significa solo far accoppiare le proprie gatte, ma delineare una certa linea riproduttiva che si vuole poi portare avanti, tenendo presente i fattori naturali e ambientali che possono influenzare la genetica e le trasmissioni genotipiche e fenotipiche... tutto questo in base ai colori e alle caratteristiche morfologiche da ricercare per tutelare - e se possibile migliorare - questa fantastica razza...

Hi everyone!!! My name is Cristiano and I live in Cardana di Besozzo, a small delightful town near Malpensa, in the green belt of Varese district (Below you can see the beautiful house where I live and breed my cats).

My love for the Sacred Birman breed dates back to many years ago: I was, indeed, only a child when I saw for the first time a beautiful Sacred Birman male but, at that time, this kind of breed was still quite unknown in Italy, although at that very moment, I just felt in love with Sacred Birmans.

I have always been fond of felines broadly speaking, so much as to devote them all my studies, most importantly my graduation thesis, based on the analysis of the genotype and on the diagnosis of blood relation precisely among felines.

Ever since, I have decided to know much more thoroughly the Sacred Birman breed and in September of 2005 Eva and Priscilla, a chocolate Sacred Birman and a blue point Sacred Birman, joined my family.

Then I have started to attend feline shows, collecting approvals and gratifications. And so, if previously breeding might have been only a dream, now it is coming true...
To breed doesn´t mean only to mate my female cats, but also to outline a particular reproductive line to be carried on, taking into account that natural and environmental factors may affect genetics and phenotypic / genotypic transmissions. And all that on the basis of the colours and the morphological characteristics (features) of the cats to be pursued in order to safeguard - and, whereas possible, to improve - this amazing wonderful breed.

Ma passion pour le Sacré de Birmanie a commencé il y a longtemps: j'étais un petit garçon quand j'ai vu mon premier Sacré de Birmanie...une race encore inconnue en Italie, et je suis tombé amoureux.

J'ai toujours eu une passion particulière pour les chats auxquels j’ai consacré toutes mes études
(Sciences et Technologie d' Elevage, branche de la médecine vétérinaire) .

Ces études se basent juste sur l'analyse du génotype et les rapports parentals chez les félins . Depuis lors, j'ai décidé de connaître les Birmans d’une façon approfondie et en Septembre 2005, j'ai acheté Eva et Priscilla , un chocolat et un bleu point.

J'ai commencé à participer à des expositions félines, avec beacoup de satisfaction et si avant un élévage n était qu’ un rêve, maintenant c’est une réalité ... Élevage ne signifie pas seulement accoupler les chats , mais tracer un “parcours reproductif” qu’on veut continuer , en tenant compte des facteurs naturels et environnementaux qui influencent la génétique et la transmission des caractères phénotypiques et génotypiques ... selon les couleurs et les caractéristiques morphologiques que l’on doit rechercher afin d' améliorer cette race fantastique ...
